Dynamax Tier List

chevron-rightListchevron-rightEntry

S Tier is the home to the best Dynamax Pokemon in the game, currently. They're also the most likely to retain their value as more Dynamax and Gigantamax Pokemon join the roster in Pokemon Go. They may not be destined to retain this rank in the long term, but they likely won't become entirely overshadowed too quickly.

The Pokemon in this tier have strong performance, but they're also not quite strong enough to be considered the cream of the crop. They may very well be the top Pokemon within their types currently or have great role-compression due to having multiple Max Move types, but they're a bit more likely to be outclassed down the road.

Within the A tier we have Pokemon that do their jobs well, but they also fall a bit behind and/or are practically destined to be outclassed in the future.

B+ is where we have Pokemon that have utility right now for various reasons, be it due to the fact that they have access to many different Max Moves and/or have coverage in a single type that's currently under-utilized, but they're not great long-term investments. Drop some Stardust in them to get started, but don't get too attached.

B Tier is where we find Pokemon that have some sort of a niche in the current meta, but they're destined to lose even the bit that they have in the near future, most likely.

Finally, C Tier Pokemon are the ones that can be used right now, but their performance is low enough that it can be argued that they're entirely outclassed now.
