PvE Analysis

Entei is a decent all-rounder option. It's not as strong as Gigantamax Fire-type Pokemon and it's not the tankiest Pokemon by any means, but it can function as a bruiser due to its Legendary stats. Entei lacks a 0.5 second Fast Attack, which makes it not great at charging up the Max Meter, so it should only be switched in to either sponge an incoming attack or to perform its Dynamax duties. Interestingly, Entei's HP stat is quite high, making it a surprisingly decent healer.

Best Dynamax Movesets

Fire Spin or Fire Fang + OverheatOffensive
Fire Spin or Fire Fang + (Any)Defensive
  • Fire Spin and Fire Fang are carbon-copies in PvE, so either one works on Defense or Offense alike.

PvP Analysis

In terms of PvP performance, Dynamax Pokemon are virtually identical to their non-Dynamax counterparts.
