Eternatus

Eternatus is in an unfortunate position as of right now. It has great moves, but it's also trying to compete in one of the most destructive types in the game, and in one of the weakest... which it still doesn't rule despite its high power due to its high Attack stat.

Eternatus does have hope, though. In the main series it can learn Sludge Bomb as well as several yet-unutilized Poison Type moves, so it could still end up rising to the top of the Poison meta... for the little bit that that's worth. It also has two Dragon Type Signature Moves in the main series in the form of Dynamax Cannon and Eternabeam, so it's possible that it may become a Dragon threat at some point. It's an uphill battle, but it's still possible.

Best PvE Movesets

• Poison Jab and Cross Poison makes Eternatus a good Poison Type attacker despite the latter's relatively weak stats.
• Dragon Tail and Dragon Pulse work for Dragon damage, but it's not a great moveset, and Eternatus has major, major competition.
• Flamethrower is an easy skip.
