Eternatus

PvE Analysis
The following analysis is based on datamined information. It may change upon release.
Eternatus is poised to become a metagame-defining Pokemon thanks to the sheer power of its Dynamax Cannon. This signature move was granted such unbelievably overpowered stats, causing Eternatus's performance to soar well above all other Dragon-type competitors. On top of that, Eternatus is a top-tier Poison attacker, though its use is far more situational.
In addition, Eternatus's Dynamax Cannon will have an Adventure Effect. This Adventure Effect will increase the potency of Max Moves used by your Max Pokemon and Eternatus, and will grant a bigger bonus if the move's level is already maxed out.
Eternatus will cost much, much more Candy and Candy XL to power up compared to other Pokemon, rendering Rare Candy and Rare Candy XL largely ineffective. However, Eternamax Max Battles will grant large amounts of Candy and Candy XL to compensate. At this time, we do not just how much we will get, so check back when we find out!
