PvE Analysis

Thanks to its comparatively incredible Attack stat, Dynamax Inteleon's damage output is so strong that its Max Geyser is still ~16% stronger than Gigantamax Blastoise's G-Max Cannonade. It also charges up the Max Meter quickly due to Water Gun's 0.5 second duration. However, Inteleon is incredibly fragile, so it should be paired with tanky Pokemon to absorb the boss's moves. Players looking to maximize Inteleon's contribution should make frequent use of switching in order to ensure that the boss's moves are caught on the tanks instead of it.

Inteleon may be powerful, but its Dynamax damage output has several competitions on the horizon. Gigantamax Drednaw, Gigantamax Kingler, and Gigantamax Rapid Strike Urshifu all possess stronger stronger Water-type Max Moves. Inteleon itself also has a Gigantamax form, which not only will outclass its current Dynamax form, but is even stronger that the aforementioned Gigantamaxes.

Best Dynamax Movesets

Water Gun + SurfOffensive
Water Gun or Pound + (Any)Defensive
  • Water Gun results in Max Geyser and builds up energy quickly for it, making it the best option for an offensive Inteleon.
  • Inteleon isn't great on a defensive side, but either of its Fast Moves can work due to how fast they are.

PvP Analysis

In terms of PvP performance, Dynamax Pokemon are identical to their non-Dynamax counterparts.
