PvE Analysis

Suicune is a sturdy tank, possessing some of the best overall bulk in the game. This should make it an appealing option, but Suicune sadly lacks a 0.5 second Fast Attack to quickly charge up the Max Meter with. As such, Suicune is not an ideal Pokemon to keep on the field for an extended amount of time. However, Suicune's great bulk makes it an amazing Pokemon to quickly switch into an incoming attack, and then immediately switching back out to a Pokemon more suitable at charging up the Max Meter. Still, it DOES have moves that translate to 0.5 seconds in the main series, so the future may be kinder to Suicune.

Best Dynamax Movesets

Extrasensory + (Any)Offensive
Snarl + (Any)Offensive
Ice Fang + (Any)Offensive
Extrasensory or Snarl + (Any)Defensive
  • In general, Dynamax Suicune is best off running Extrasensory for Max Mindstorm, or Snarl for Max Darkness, as these two fast moves provide the fastest energy generation.
  • Ice Fang can throw out Max Hailstorm, but it's pretty slow and doesn't generate energy quickly.
  • If you're going for a supportive role, stick with Snarl or Extrasensory for the reasons outlined above.

PvP Analysis

In terms of PvP performance, Dynamax Pokemon are virtually identical to their non-Dynamax counterparts.
