PvE Analysis
Metagross is an absolute slugger of a Dynamax, hitting like a truck on both the Psychic and Steel sides of the spectrum. It's a massively important Pokemon in the meta that has its moments as both a top damage dealer and a top defender, depending on the situation. An investment in a Dynamax Metagross will definitely pay off!

- Bullet Punch is obviously the main move of choice if you're going for Steel Type Dynamax offense. Meteor Mash doesn't REALLY matter due to the fact that Metagross won't really be using its Charged Move over Max Steelspike, but it's still an option.
- Zen Headbutt is the way to go for Psychic damage. In a similar story to Steel, you'll be going for Max Mindstorm over Psychic.
- For a more supportive build, Bullet Punch and Zen Headbutt are about the same for energy generation, so pick whichever one is Super Effective, or at least neutral. Charged Move options don't overly matter, as Max Guard and Max Spirit are the way to go.
PvP Analysis
In terms of PvP performance, Dynamax Pokemon are identical to their non-Dynamax counterparts.
