PvE Analysis

Dynamax Corviknight doesn't have the best Attack stat, so it will tend to fall a bit behind in terms of raw damage. However, it makes up for this due to the fact that it's a solid tank. It has a potentially great dual-typing that can allow it to wall out a lot of Dynamax raids, and the fact that its HP is the main component of its bulk means that its Max Spirit heals a decent amount.

Dynamax Corviknight will definitely face competition from... itself... when Gigantamax Corviknight drops, but basic Corviknight can act as a defender of the exact same caliber, and can also drop Max Quake and Max Steelspike... though it WILL be weaker if you want to drop Flying Type Max Moves, especially since Gigantamax Corviknight will be able to utilize Sand Attack for max-speed energy generation while still throwing out Flying Type Max Moves.

Best Dynamax Movesets

Steel Wing, Air Slash or Sand Attack + (Any)Offensive
Sand Attack + (Any)Defensive
  • If you want offensive power, then any of Corviknight's Fast Moves can do the work. Though, ironically, it's a bit better at utilizing Max Quake thanks to how fast Sand Attack is.
  • For defense, always stick with Sand Attack for how quickly it can charge up Max Guard and Max Spirit.

PvP Analysis

In terms of PvP performance, Dynamax Pokemon are virtually identical to their non-Dynamax counterparts.
