Level 20: | 2051 - 2140 |
Level 25, Weather Boosted: | 2564 - 2675 |
Move Difficulty
Easy | Pound, Low Kick |
Intermediate | Double Kick, Focus Blast, Hyper Beam |
Challenging | Fire Punch, Triple Axel |
Pound and Low Kick aren't anything particularly dangerous despite STAB, but Double Kick is another story due to having basically double the power.
Hyper Beam and Focus Blast both have the raw power to potentially nuke most cuonters, but fortunately they're not hard to dodge. Meanwhile, Fire Punch is a threat due to how frequently it comes out in conjunction with limited counter-coverage, though some counters also resist it. And Triple Axel is much the same story, but with even better coverage, in particular heavily threatening Flying Types, and severely threatening Mega Rayquaza and its non-Mega forme.
Overview
Mega Lopunny is definitely not the best Fighting Type Mega Evolution option, and Normal is... basically worthless in the PvE Meta. This isn't to say that Mega Lopunny is useless, as it's actually a decent attacker in its own right, and can work in the absence of monsters like Mega Lucario, or as a backup option. Or as a dex filler. Fortunately, it's not hard to take down Mega Lopunny, especially since it has some very, very devastating weaknesses. It really shouldn't be hard to take this bunny down.
Team Building Approach
When it comes to weaknesses, Mega Lopunny really got the short end of the stick. It's weak to Flying, Psychic, Fighting, and Fairy... 3 of which top the neutral DPS charts.
- Flying tops the scales on the Mega side, with a lot of power on the non-Mega side too. They need to watch out for Triple Axel, but they basically crush everything else with ease.
- Psychic holds some of the strongest Pokemon in the game, and the current king of non-Mega options for this raid. They're very much ready to trash this rabbit.
- Fighting has one of the strongest monsters in the game in Mega Lucario, but the non-Mega offerings generally can't keep up with the competition. Still, don't underestimate the power of punching a bunny!
- Fairy falls behind the competition, but still has enough power to work as a backup type.
