PvE Analysis

Ramped Up or Low-Key, Toxtricity is the air guitar headliner for its all-Pokemon band. However, it's a mediocre Electric Type attacker and a low-tier Poison Type attacker due to Acid Spray's abysmal performance.

As a Dynamax Pokemon, Toxtricity is the first Electric Type option, and the first user of Max Ooze for Poison damage. It's great at the moment, but it's very destined to be outclassed by other Pokemon, as well as its own Gigantamax variant.

Best PvE Offensive Moveset

  • Spark and Wild Charge is the only moveset that makes Toxtricity worth even mildly considering. Discharge is weaker.
  • Poison Jab or Acid can pair with Acid Spray... but this moveset is extremely weak due to Acid Spray's horrible performance, so don't do this.
  • Power-Up Punch is worthless.

Best PvE Defensive Moveset

  • Poison Jab has Toxtricity's strongest overall defensive performance
  • Acid is okay, but Spark is weak.
  • Discharge and Power-Up Punch both come out frequently, making them good Charged Move options on Defense.
  • Wild Charge doesn't come out as frequently, but it's also very strong.
  • Acid Spray is trash.
