Overview
Shadow Regigigas has every right in the world to be an absolute titan of a Pokemon. Just LOOK at this thing, will you?! 287 Attack, a 200-power STAB move, AND the Shadow Boost all in one?! Too bad it's Normal Type and that 200-power STAB move is ACTUALLY pretty mediocre. Sadly, Shadow Regigigas has no niche in the game to call its own. It's a poor option in basically every meta in the entire game. It's okay-ish as a pseudo-Fighting Type attacker if you get lucky and score Hidden Power Fighting or a Hidden Power that can synergize with Fighting (like Ground if you're going against a Steel Type, or Water for Rock Types), but even then it's NOT worth the investment unless you get a 100% with Hidden Power Fighting and you absolutely love this Pokemon and don't mind.... not really using it.
For future considerations: Shadow Regigigas COULD see more utility if Scopely ever decides that its signature move, Crush Grip, should be outright broken, though the odds are not super great. It COULD be a good Dynamax Pokemon someday, but that has nothing to do with these raids.
That said, if you DO want to go after Shadow Regigigas, then get ready for.... a fun time. Bring those Purified Gems, and be ready to dodge because it will pretty much always score a KO if it lands a Charged Move, and may even KO if dodged!
Difficulty: The more the merrier, but the bare minimum is 2 trainers even with Supreme Counters.
