Move Difficulty

Blaze Kick has low power, but is resisted by most of the top counters.

Counter and Fire Spin are basically clones of eachother and deal enough damage post STAB that they will deal considerable damage over time. Then there is Focus Blast as the last Intermediate move. While it can deal a good amount of damage, it's easy enough to dodge that it can be managable when dodged correctly.

For the Hard category we have Overheat, a move that will probably KO any Pokemon that doesn't take resisted damage, and a good chunk to those who do. Finally, there's Brave Bird. This move hits HARD and is difficult to dodge as well.

Overview

Being a glass cannon, Mega Blaziken won't be too hard to take down though it has some moves that you need to be weary of. A solo is definitely possible with the top Mega/Primal evolutions, though a second player is recommended to take it down safely.

Mega Blaziken is worth your raid passes, being a top Fire Type attacker. Any Fire Type team will benifit from this addition and should be a priority for any trainer out there.

Team Buidling Approach

  • Mega Blaziken is weak to Flying, Ground, Water and Psychic.
    • Flying has Mega Rayquaza, so it's the top type.
    • Water is great, resisting Fire Type moves and also dealing good damage in return.
    • Ground shouldn't be slept on.
    • Psychic has (shadow) Mewtwo and Mega Alakazam and is the only Pokemon of this type worth considering.

Supreme Counters

A solo is possible with the top Mega/Primal Evolutions, but if you're lacking these I'd recommend going for the much safer duo.
