Overview

Mega Heracross doesn't pose much of a threat. Almost all of its moves are resisted by its counters and it has to stand up against Mega Rayquaza, Pokemon GOs strongest Pokemon. In fact, all you need to take down Mega Heracross is a Mega Rayquaza without any other Pokemon in your party. Simply revive it as soon as it goes down, and you'll have almost nothing to worry about. That almost part refers to Rock Blast, Heracross' best coverage move. While it will make it a harder battle, you should still be able to take it down.

Mega Heracross is absolutely a power-house of a Pokemon. Generally speaking, it's the top Bug Type Mega Evolution, sporting DPS similar to Mega Beedrill with higher TDO in many cases, and it's also a strong Fighting Type Mega Evolution, able to carry strong performance that's worthy of consideration. That being said, there's serious competition when it comes to the Fighting type category, and Bug is somewhat of a lackluster type. All in all, it's a great Pokemon to go after.
