Fire. Fire is the answer. Burn the bug, burn it to the ground. Bring fire, all that it takes is fire, just use fire!

Seriously though: Mega Scizor is not a particularly hard so long as you have even decent Fire Types. Just burn Mega Scizor down and you've got an easy solo. In fact, this weakness is so significant that many of our top counters prioritize TDO over DPS within reason. But what do you get in return? Well, Mega Scizor is a decent Bug and Steel Type Mega, so it brings some role compression to the table. However, one type is notoriously under-utilized, and the other has some of the strongest things in the game at the top. This makes Mega Scizor a bit of a weak investment, but one that can prove useful early in the game.
