Overview

Mega Houndoom isn't a challenge to take down, being weak to some of the strongest types in the game, and paired with poor coverage, it doesn't make for a challenge.

Don't be fooled by how easy it is to take this thing down. It's actually... pretty good, but not great. It's not the top Fire or Dark type mega evolution, but the fact that it has good movesets for both types makes it an interesting choice for new players, or if you're running low on mega energy for your other Fire or Dark type mega's.

Best Counters

Difficulty: Mega Houndoom can be comfortably taken down by 1 trainer using any combination of the Supreme Counters in Sunny, Rainy or Cloudy weather respectively, otherwise a second trainer is needed.
