GamePress Database Update In Progress After Recent System Change - UPDATE 9/4
UPDATE 9/7/2024
Niantic Support has anounced on Twitter that the changes to PvE are in fact inteded and will be the new status-quo. However, they also mentioned that the new system is being monitored and might get tweaked based on user feedback. For now we will continue updating moves to be in line with the new status-quo.
UPDATE: 9/4/2024
Reports are on the rise that the recent changes to the raid system may have been reverted as quietly as they were initiated. For this reason, we're halting the update to the database, and will begin reverting our work completed thus far in a day or so if we are able to confirm the reversion. However, note that if these reports are true, then these changes or something similar to them may be re-instated in the coming days or weeks without notice!
Original Information
As we've already highlighted, Pokemon Go has undergone an unannounced reorganization of the way that moves work in raids. We initially intended to wait to see if Niantic would roll back the change or at least announce it, but we've had no such luck thus far. Since we're now willing to assume that this is the new status-quo, we're beginning the update. Early warning: this is going to entail an extensive change to virtually all of the PvE information that we have on Gamepress, so please have patience as we work our way through it all. For reference, we will keep this page updated to help show our current progress as we work through all of our major resources.
