Team Rocket Steel Type Grunt Guide

Having access to Fire Spin and Magma Storm* will make quick work of a grunt without taking too many hits in return. It's worth noting that it doesn't appreciate any mud thrown at it.

With the deadly combination of Counter/Force Palm* and Power-Up-Punch at its disposal, Lucario can stun lock a grunt. A second charge move on a Lucario can be pricey (if you didn't unlock it before evolving), but comes highly recommended for Shadow Ball providing some coverage.

Mud Slap with Scorching Sands and Rock Slide is the recommended moveset, though Ferroseed and Scizor will require you to swap.

Fire Spin and Blast Burn* are similar to Heatran, but it's more frail and has to watch out for Skarmory in addition to Ground type Fast Moves.
