Beautifly
PvE Analysis
Beautifly is a dex entry at best, with poor stats and a suboptimal moveset that leaves more to be desired.
Best PvE Offensive Moveset
Infestation + Bug Buzz | Best |
---|
- Infestation is superior to Struggle Bug on offense, though the two are somewhat close.
- Bug Buzz is the best charge move for offense.
- Silver Wind is a downgrade.
- Air Cutter is a poor move and may lack synergy with Beautifly's fast moves.
Best PvE Defensive Moveset
Struggle Bug + Silver Wind or Air Cutte | Best |
---|
- Struggle Bug is stronger on defense due to its higher base power.
- Silver Wind can be used frequently as a 3-bar move, making it more ideal for defense.
- Bug Buzz hits harder, but is easier to dodge.
- Air Cutter has poor damage output for defense, but at least it's off-type with Beautifly's Fast Moves.
PvP Analysis
Infestation + Bug Buzz and Silver Wind or Air Cutter | Best |
---|
Infestation is recommended for its superior energy generation, which Struggle Bug falls behind in, though the latter does sport greater damage output.
Bug Buzz demands the most amount of energy, but is also the most powerful and efficient charge move available in terms of Damage Per Energy (DPE). Silver Wind has pitiful damage output, but costs the least amount of energy, and is used largely for pressuring shields. Air Cutter is also a poor move that demands a moderate amount of energy, and offers Flying-type coverage.
Great League | |
---|---|
Beautifly doesn't have much going for it, with a high ATK stat and consequently poor bulk, and a very poor and inefficient moveset. That's not to say that Beautifly can't win battles where typing advantages support it, but other Pokemon can fulfill its role much more easily and confidently. | |
Ultra League | |
Beautifly lacks a lot of things needed for PvP, and stats is notable for anything outside of Great League. | |
Master League | |
Dragons got nothing on this beautiful Pokemon when it comes to aesthetics. But that doesn't win battles does it? |
