Mega Gallade Makes it Debut during Raid Day, January 11

Mega Gallade finally makes it way in to Pokemon GO with its very own raid day! It's got an awesome design, sporting a cape and swords for arms. It's not quite the top Psychic mega Pokemon, but it's definitly a good Pokemon to pick up if you're lacking one.

Mega Gallade currently sits on the #5 spot between all mega Psychic types and #3 amongst the ones that are currently available.

Unfortunately, Mega Gallade is a bit of a "too little, too late" case. It's good, but not good enough to really shift the meta in terms of either Fighting or Psychic. We already have what is likely to be the best Fighting Type Mega Evolution in the game in Mega Lucario, and we're just waiting for the two Mega Mewtwo formes to rule the Psychic meta. This makes Mega Gallade an okay choice, but primarily a budget option due to its role-compression. Or maybe just a dex filler for many.
