Vanilluxe

Vanilluxe is one of the Pokemon that people bring up when they want to highlight bad designs/the declining quality that has allegedly shown up as the generations march on. Whether you love or hate this deluxe icecream cone that was apparently inspired by the iconic Stay Puft Marshmallow Man from Ghostbusters, its presence in Go is all-around lackluster. If you want a good Ice Type, you could evolve a 0-0-0 Mamoswine and get better performance than a perfect icecream cone.

Best PvE Offensive Moveset

• Frost Breath pairs with Avalanche* to give Vanilluxe its only moveset with a shread of viability
• Astonish and Signal Beam are bad, Flash Cannon is just mediocre, and Blizzard is sub-par.

Best PvE Defensive Moveset

• Frost Breath has STAB and the highest base power for defense
• Signal Beam is one of the easiest to use charged moves for Vanilluxe, though it's very likely to be resisted.
• Avalanche* is strong and comes out reasonably often, so it's a great choice too.
• Blizzard is strong and fairly hard to dodge, but far too slow to be viable
• Flash Cannon is the worst of all worlds

Frost Breath is by far the best fast move choice for Vanilluxe, though it doesn't meld extremely well with its charged moves.

With above average damage and below average energy gains, Avalanche has great damage output for low cost, making it Vanilluxe' best overall move option. Signal Beam provides a bit of coverage and a chance to buff Vanilluxe, but it's generally not worth using most of the time.
