Simisage
PvE Analysis
Face it: the only reason to use Simisage is for that pompadour. That aside, he 'aint nothin' but a Hound Dog.
Best PvE Offensive Moveset
Vine Whip + Grass Knot | Best |
---|
- You'll want to pair Vine Whip with Grass Knot to make Simisage the best that you can In the Ghetto.
- Solar Beam is a Big Hunk 'o Love, but it's too slow to be worth using.
- Crunch pairs with Bite for a dark moveset, but it's a bit weak, so it doesn't really Love Me Tender.
Best PvE Defensive Moveset
- Vine Whip is superior. Don't be Cruel to poor Simiage by using Bite.
- Crunch is 3-bar with good neutral coverage, and will leave would-be attackers All Shook Up.
- Grass Knot is a decent choice as well, though a bit less effective. Still, its higher power has some advantages for those with Suspicious Minds.
- Solar Beam is slow, and on defense it's Now or Never. So the answer is never.
PvP Analysis
Vine Whip+Grass Knot and Crunch |
---|
Are you Lonesome Tonight? Then try mixing Vine Whip with Grass Knot and Crunch. This will give Simisear its best possible performance in PVP.
Great League | 1.5 / 5 |
---|---|
While Simisage's regional status makes many people feel like it's off doing the Jailhouse Rock in some far-away land, it's not exactly a huge loss.. It has some decent matchups thanks to its mix of Grass and Dark Type moves, but many other more common Pokemon can do what it does to a much greater degree, leaving its niche a bit too shallow to be worthwhile. | |
Ultra League | 1 / 5 |
Simisage can drop some Burning Love on Giratina with Crunch, but not enough to even sting. | |
Master League | 0 / 5 |
