Houndstone

Houndstone is a fun little zombie-ghost-dog Pokemon from Paldea that's very iconic for its high competitive performance in the main series. However, that didn't really translate well to Pokemon Go, as Houndstone is actually really mediocre.

That said, it does have a bit of hope. In the main series, Houndstone has a Signature Move by the name of Last Respects, so we may see a future for Houndstone.

Best PvE Offensive Moveset

• Good dogs frequently Lick those that they love.
• Only bad dogs Bite those that they love... unless they're just playing.
• Shadow Ball is the Charged Move of choice, with Dig and Psychic Fangs falling way behind.

Best PvE Defensive Moveset

• Lick pulls a bit ahead of Bite thanks to STAB.
• Dig has great neutral coverage and power, but it's pretty easy to dodge.
• Shadow Ball is the same story, though it leaves Houndstone easily walled.
• Psychic Fangs comes out frequently and is hard to dodge, but it's also very weak and leaves Houndstone easily walled by Dark Types.
