Dubwool

In the "normal" Raid/Gym meta, Dubwool has basically nothing going for it at all.

Max Battles

Dubwool is a serviceable tank option due to its decent bulk. It can also charge up the Max Meter quickly with Tackle. With that said, Greedent is a better option overall due to having better stats and greater coverage. As more Pokemon are released down the line, Dubwool will fade into obscurity.

Best PvE Offensive Moveset

• On offense, Tackle is superior to Take Down.
• Double Kick would be more favorable on Fighting-type Pokemon. 
• In a neutral fight, Wild Charge is powerful enough to be superior to other Charge Moves despite not having STAB. 
• Body Slam isn't far behind with STAB, but can't be Super Effective against anything. 
• Payback has no offensive use. 

Best PvE Defensive Moveset

• Double Kick is decent on defense since there's a chance it can deal some Super Effective damage, and its base power competes decently with other available STAB options. 
• On defense, Take Down is superior to Tackle. 
• Body Slam is good for fast and spammable neutral hits. 
• Wild Charge is also a decent choice, though easier to dodge. 
• Payback is resisted by Fighting-type attackers. 

Double Kick enables Dubwool to compete in the meta thanks to its valuable energy generation and useful typing coverage. Tackle and Take Down benefit from STAB but can't be Super Effective against anything. 

Body Slam can be spammed frequently and deal solid neutral damage with STAB. Wild Charge is a very threatening move, especially against common Water Pokemon, and gives Dubwool a lot of shield pressure. Payback is undesirable due to its high energy cost, but its Dark-type coverage is useful in specific formats.
