PvP Analysis

Charm + Psychic Fangs and Play Rough

Charm benefits from STAB and also has higher DPT than Bite, making it the superior choice.

Psychic Fangs is the perfect complimentary move to Charm, providing a Dachsbun with not only a cheap Charged Attack, but also Defense drops to make subsequent Charms even more oppressive. Neither Body Slam nor Play Rough are particularly amazing options. Play Rough is unlikely to get used much as its expensive energy cost does not synergize well with Charm's poor energy gains, but it can serve as a burst damage option. Body Slam is a decent cheap move, but Dachsbun would much rather click Psychic Fangs the vast majority of the time.

Great League4 / 5
Charmers as a whole deal highly consistent damage, but Dachsbun is especially devious thanks to its access to Psychic Fangs. When combined with its good overall bulk, Dachsbun excels at unblockable damage in extended fights, holding a tremendous winrate in the 2 shields. It is somewhat one dimensional, however, as it doesn't have much in the way of coverage. Common Steel- and Poison-type Pokemon such as Alolan Sandslash, Toxapex, and Clodsire can make short work of it. Wigglytuff also competes with Dachsbun for the Charmer role, as its Normal subtyping provides superior corebreaking potential by also pressuring Ghost-type Pokemon.
Ultra League4 / 5
Although Dachsbun doesn't quite hit 2500 CP, it comes close and still has a decent stat product and an oppressive moveset. It no longer has Wigglytuff to compete in its role, but it does have to deal with Tentacruel being a top-tier Pokemon effortlessly walling it.
Master League0 / 5
The Master League is no place for a puppy.
