Uxie
PvE Analysis
Unlike its sibling Azelf, Uxie was not blessed with a high attack stat. This leaves it with only a marginally higher DPS than Cresselia, with worse TDO. Uxie is the Knowledge Pokémon, and it should give you the knowledge to not use it in raids.
Best PvE Offensive Moveset
Confusion + Future Sight | Best |
---|
- Confusion is the superior fast move on offense.
- Extrasensory falls behind, but not by much.
- Future Sight benefits from STAB and is Mesprit's highest DPS moveset.
- Thunder lacks STAB and doesn't suit Mesprit's role.
- Swift lacks STAB and can't be Super Effective vs anything.
PvP Analysis
Confusion deals much more damage than Extrasensory, more than making up for having slightly less energy gain.
Swift is by far Uxie's cheapest Charged Attack, granting it some shield pressure and damage consistency. Thunder provides coverage, most notably hitting Steel-, Dark-, or Psychic-type opponents that resist Confusion. Future Sight is a great finishing move, but it lacks coverage and has significant energy demands.
Great League | 3 / 5 |
---|---|
Uxie boasts amazing bulk, being comparable to the likes of Altaria, Dewgong, and Deoxys-Defense. It does, however, live mostly in the shadow of Cresselia, as Cresselia possesses even greater bulk and a generally better moveset. Uxie's main advantages over Cresselia include having a cheaper Charged Attack and access to Thunder to better threaten Steel-type Pokemon. | |
Ultra League | 3 / 5 |
Uxie unfortunately still lives in Cresselia's shadow, made worse by its inability to significantly dent Giratina. It is still very tanky by Ultra League standards, but its overall clunky moveset holds it back. | |
Master League | 0 / 5 |
There are far too many Pokemon with much higher stats than Uxie. |
