Overview
 Shadow Groudon is an incredible Pokemon, throwing around some of the best Ground Type damage output in the game, and a niche pick that can be valuable for select Master League teams. This is definitely a great Pokemon to grind for, and a great target for using Purified Gems on.
Shadow Groudon is a fairly reasonable duo, though that relies heavily on having some of the top counters and enough purified gems to quell its rage. For this reason, having more players to water down the requirements can be beneficial for many players. Fortunately, Groudon's weaknesses to Ice, Grass, and Water all have some very strong options on the table, so at 3 players this should be a very reasonable raid to take down, even with the majority of our 'good' counters.
Counters
 Difficulty: Shadow Groudon is a reasonable duo given most of the top counters here, though the lower options get a bit more tenuous without support from the heavy-hitters. 
 Is it any surprise that White Kyurem tops the list? The apex of Ice Types, this thing sports TREMENDOUS power, and has great performance against Groudon's moves for an Ice Type, taking neutral damage from everything save Dragon Tail. Keep this monster at the top of your list if you have it! 
 Ice Fang + Ice Burn*
 While a step down from the competition, Mega Sceptile leads the Grass Type army with great damage output. It can even be a genuinely optimal  pick if the weather is clear.
Bullet Seed + Frenzy Plant*
 That lack of an Ice Type Fast Move hurts Black Kyurem here, but it's still an incredibly destructive Pokemon with great performance here.
Dragon Tail + Freeze Shock*
 Everyone's favorite origami Pokemon, Kartana is here to make some deep Grass Type cuts... just be sure to dodge Fire Blast if it shows up.
Razor Leaf + Leaf Blade
 Shadow Mamoswine hits hard, but it's pretty frail here due to its very relevant weaknesses.
Powder Snow + Avalanche
 Ready to rain death down on Shadow Groudon? Primal Kyogre is a top-tier monster that will wash away Shadow Groudon with ease. It doesn't care for Solar Beam, but it's still an outstanding pick.
 Waterfall + Origin Pulse*
 It's not quite on a par with its Primal forme, but Shadow Groudon's counterpart is still genuinely destructive in its own right, and it's possible to bring an entire team of them (if you're lucky enough to have a team ready), and they're boosted by just having Primal Kyogre on the team!
Waterfall + Origin Pulse*
 Poor man's Primal Kyogre, Mega Swampert can definitely work here... just don't let it take a Solar Beam.
Water Gun + Hydro Cannon*
 Shadow Regigigas will need a relevant Hidden Power type for this raid to excel, but it can DEFINITELY put in the work if everything lines up!
Hidden Power + Crush Grip
 A solid Grass Type backup that can put in work.
