Meowstic - Male

Meowstic is one of the first Pokemon from Gen 6 to be introduced into Pokemon Go, but its stats aren't particularly strong for PvE. At the time of its release, there have already been various Psychic-type Pokemon that perform better in PvE, making this cat a dex filler at best. 

Best PvE Offensive Moveset

• Confusion is the preferred fast move for offense, benefiting from STAB.
• Sucker Punch lacks STAB and doesn't suit Meowstic's role.
• Psychic benefits from STAB and allows Meowstic to fulfill a Psychic-type role. 
• Thunderbolt, Energy Ball, and Magical Leaf don't suit Meowstic.

Best PvE Defensive Moveset

• Confusion is preferred for defense due to its significantly stronger base power. 
• Magical Leaf is also a strong option, but not quite as strong.
• Sucker Punch is inferior on defense due to its lesser defensive damage output. 
• Psychic benefits from STAB and is the hardest to dodge, but doesn't offer any extra coverage. 
• Thunderbolt is decent on defense, but doesn't cover Meowstic's weaknesses.
• Energy Ball is the slowest charge move, and consequently the easiest to dodge.
