PvE Analysis

Other Pokemon are strong, poor Furret is only long but it can walk.

It can walk!

Other Pokemon can fight, but poor Furret had best take flight but it can walk.

It can walk!

And yes, your Furret is a cute little guy, running around and looking like it's super-spry, but use it in a raid and watch your friends carry you, so leave it off the queue!

Best PvE Offensive Moveset

Quick Attack + Hyper BeamBest
  • Furret doesn't really have any "good" movesets for attacking...

Best PvE Defensive Moveset

Quick Attack + Brick BreakBest
  • Quick Attack has solid neutral coverage and good power. Sucker Punch can also be okay, but Fighting Types are common enough that it's giving the attacker a free win... of course using Furret on defense is kind of giving the other attacker a free win regardless.
  • Brick Break is probably the best Charged Move option due to how frequently it comes out, but its power is pretty bad.
  • Dig has high power and only takes a bit more energy, making it very comparable to Brick Break.
  • Hyper Beam will likely never come out.
  • Swift is kind of okay, but not strong enough to be worthwhile.

PvP Analysis

Sucker Punch + Swift and Trailblaze

Sucker Punch's much high damage often eclipses Quick Attack's STAB and slightly higher energy generation.

Swift is Furret's bread and butter - a cheap STAB move with decent damage. Trailblaze turns Furret into a dangerous sweeping threat thanks to its Attack boosts. Dig, Hyper Beam, and Brick Break are all mediocre options.

Great League

Furret is an underdogferret in PvP, featuring impressive bulk, a mono-Normal typing, and speedy and reliable moveset. Thanks to the addition of Swift and Trailblaze in the Might and Mastery Season, Furret becomes both a strong generalist and a deadly sweeper. It does, however, still struggle greatly to get past Fighting-types as it lacks the means to really threaten them.
