Fidough Fetch

Niantic is starting the year with the release of a brand new Pokemon: Fidough! Along a new Pokemon release we're also getting some of the best bonuses: 4x catch Stardust and XP. Though it's not quite clear how long we'll have these bonuses as we're expected to complete a few rounds of challenges where we have to complete an unknown amount of nice throws. Al in all, it's a great way to start the new year with plenty of Stardust and XP for all.

Event Bonuses

• Increased chance of encountering shiny Electrike and Voltorb.

In order to unlock each level of bonuses, we have to complete an unkown amount of Nice Throws. Each level will remain active after the next one is unlocked.

• Level 1
• 2x catch XP.
• Level 2
• 2x catch Stardust.
• Event themed field research tasks will be available.
• Fidough and Dachsbun will make their debut. (It's not mentioned if they'll be available in the wild)

• Level 3
• 2.5x catch XP.
• Additional field research task will be available.
• Additional Pokemon will apear in the wild.
• Level 4:
• 2.5x catch Stardust.
• Level 5:
• 3x catch XP.
• 3x catch Stardust.
• Level 6:
• 4x catch XP.
• 4x catch Stardust.
