Mega Rayquaza Elite Raids are Coming, June 29

When it comes to discussions about the strongest Pokemon and Pokemon Go, a few outliers definitely stand out. Shadow Mewtwo, Shadow Ramparados, Mega Gengar, Mega Blaziken.... the list goes on and on. However, one Pokemon currently stands at the apex of any general list, and with good reason: Mega Rayquaza is the strongest thing in all of Pokemon Go to date.

A rare and powerful monster, Mega Rayquaza is only attainable via a Rayquaza that knows its signature Flying Type move, Dragon Ascent. This makes it an expensive yet very worthwhile investment, especially if you want a Mega Rayquaza that operates as a Dragon Type attacker.

Mega Rayquaza is coming to Elite Raids on June 29, marking yet another opportunity to attain the apex of the Flying and Dragon metas.

On top of all of this, a Timed Research line will be available that will grant players a Meteorite, which is the item needed to teach Dragon Ascent to Rayquaza. A $4.99 box will also be available in the shops, featuring items to help players get ready for a day of Elite Raids.
