Me too. I've been looking forward to get some Zams and pinap them to max my 100% Zam, but till now I haven't seen any(not even in the radar).
I haven't tried this yet, but you might try installing lure modules in three or more Pokestops that touch each other. Then you might have a chance for seeing Zam.
Has anyone seen wild Alakazams during this event?
I still have a goal of catching every gen 1 pokemon in the wild (excluding regionals and legendaries/Mew). One of the five I am missing is Alakazam, and I thought this event might be a good opportunity to encounter one in the wild. Abras are everywhere, obviously, and Kadabras are pretty common, but I've not come across any wild 'Zams. How about you?
Along the same lines, I was very disappointed that evolved forms were MIA in the most recent Kanto event.
The gen 1 mons I have not yet caught in the wild are:
Dragonite
Gyarados
Alakazam
Flareon
Primeape
I've been keeping track since early in the game's existence, so I am quite sure of the accuracy of this list.

My first Zam was wild catch, very early in game, before i ever had Kadabra. But that was only time i met him wild. I never seen much more gen 1 last stage mons than you, like all other from your list + Arcanine, Venusaur, Kabutops , Persian, Rapidash, Machamp, Dugtrio , Sandslash , Raichu , Arbok and Jolteon :(
I've caught four or five wild Raichus, and at least two Charizards. The first Charizard was during the New Year 2017 starter event, when after catching a few Venusaurs and Blastoises early on, I went out every night specifically to hunt Charizard, finally encountering one late in the event. The second Charizard was on my way home from an EX raid in a bad blizzard, when I failed to catch the Mewtwo, but was consoled by encountering a low-level wild Charizard. It was in April of this year, and there was some event going on that involved double candy and increased gen 1 spawns (or perhaps fire spawns, don't really remember), and I pinapped the Charizard for 40 candies.
