Which Piloswine should I power up?

With the new Sinnoh Stone, and Gen4 evolutions coming, which Piloswine should I power up taking into consideration the incoming Def/HP rework?

Piloswine 98% - 15/15/14
Piloswine 96% - 15/13/15

So what is more durable? 15 defense and 14 HP, or 13 defense and 15 HP?

You worrying about bulk? Both won't make too much difference, but I think the 98iv one would be better by a very very small margin. For overall performance I recommend the 96iv one due to faster energy gain.

I was worrying about bulk because I supposed that from an attack point of view both would be the same as both have 15 attack...

Why the 96%IV would have better energy gain?

You gain energy from taking damage, so lower def = possibly more damage taken = possibly more energy = possibly more charge moves done faster. The key word is the "possibly". It's extremely rare that you gain any kind of an advantage this way and probably more likely that the additional damage will cause you to faint faster.

Assuming A/D/H order, the 98% is better. Higher overall IV and HP IV is less valuable for Piloswine and Mamoswine, being low def/high hp pokemon. The rework does not change this.

Just don't power them up yet. Ice is not a necessary attacking type at the moment, so you should simply wait until investing anything valuable.

I would do the 98%.
But wait until its certain that it doesnt evolve from trading...

Mamo doesn't require trading in the main series. Some of the Gen 4 cross evos do but this concern is irrelevant for our woolly friend.

None of them.

Wait until it actually can be evolved. Same may be said for the HP/DEF rework. It was announced as coming soon like a month ago and still there is no confirmation that is coming anytime soon.

I personally will not invest any dust on my 100% or my level 35 luckies until the evolution is here.

Sinnoh Stone confirmed?

Dataminer chrales (something like that) discovered an item referred to as the "Sinnoh Stone". Guesses are it's a cover-all evo item for the multitude of cross gen evolutions so they don't need to implement a dozen or so unique items that people will trash once they get their Pokedex entries.

Do we have a link for this? Not that I don't believe you, but I'd like to see the original source for myself.

Not official yet. Just hints and assumptions based on promising leaks, as usual.
