Unown away from completing Gen2 - Where to find?
With the event, I was able to walk and catch enough for T-Rex and Piloswine. I still don't have the regionals. Lacking the funds and ability to travel the world for pokemon, I figure my dex is complete without regionals.
So, where are the best places to find Unown? I have the shadow in my dex, so I know I've seen it on a gym. Haven't seen one in the wild. Anyone?

Total random luck. It is obviosly VERY rare. Maybe hang out in special iconic locations a lot, such as national monuments or other tourist traps. e.g. Statue of Liberty. But that is just a wild guess. I caught one in March at the end of the second longest pier on the west coast, but havn't seen a second one there since, despite numerous trips back. Good luck.

Also, I wouldn't cheat. Something that rare would be easy for Niantic to keep a magnifying glass on. Aka, spoofer trap. But I have no actual evidence for that.
