Technical 100IVs?

Today I caught a 15A/15D/14S Rayquaza at 2078CP. Though it's missing 1HP IV, I've found that both this Rayquaza and a perfect reach exactly 162 HP at level 40, making this what players in my area call a "technical 100iv", given the identical performance at max.

I also remember that Blissey and Chansey can be "technical 100ivs" at level 40 with 15/15/14.

Do you guys know of any others?

I have a 98% Ttar (15a/15d/14s) with 169 HP maxed out. Its CP is 3661 out of 3670 max.

It happens with most pokemon that within 2 hp ivs they have the same hp at a certain level.

Kyogre and Groudon 13 hp ivs = 14 hp ivs at lev 40
Tyranitar 14 = 15 at 40
Rayquaza 14 = 15 at 40
Mewtwo 12 = 13 at 40
...

You can argue the same for 14/13A that hits the same breakpoints (quick and charge move) as the 15A

Though this will need to hold true for the entire universe of Pokémon, unlike the 14Stamina case (which does not vary from pokemon to pokemon)

That's my logic here, is that this Rayquaza will be equivalent to a 100% in ALL matchups (which is nice because Dragons are great generalists)

No because 14 defence can result in more damage taken. You should still be happy that you have such a high IV Rayquaza, it's not going to be significantly worse than a perfect one.

There are likely many mons that fit this description. But for those of us with moderate OCD 98 will always be less than 100.

Yeah you are correct. I have the exact same one maxed out at 3636 (funny number lol). Just enjoy your "perfect" one. And i also want to add that we should always be satisfied with what we get even if its not that perfect. I m not agree with those extremly hardcore's iv100 or nothing sttuf (they raid alot and usually use a tracker).....yeah i said too much i guess XD
