So I'm seeing things about a shiny wailmer...

Is it really in the game? Some youtubers are streaming live about it. Too bad i can't find a wailmer nest here until next nest migration...

it seems legit. their spawn rate is also boosted.

From what I see around me... every water type got boosted in spawn rates! I see carvanha, remoraid, wailmers, magikarps... and a larvitar?

Edit: so grass, water and ground are all going to appear more frequently according to the announcement in game.

I see triple stardust. I like triple dust.

I do too, finally an occasion to use my last starpiece! Will use it tomorrow when I'll find a raid or two, and then i'll gather all the poliwags from the nest nearby.

Hopefully you get some fake rain as well.

I had a plot twist pulled on me.
Real rain, game still says it's only cloudy. Good thing my mom called me at the park right before the rain started, it only caught me the moment i reached my street.

I think the triple dust is only for catches. Don't waste a starpiece on raids.

I would suspect that the effect applies to any ground, grass, or water pokemon. So if you do an eggy or karp raid, you might get 1500 dust. I did one, but it was before the event started, and I got the usual 500 dust (and also the usual no rare candies).

But during the 2 min in the lobby + raid time you could catch multiple pokemon.

If the catch is a T3 Piloswine for example it might be a good stardust catch + not sure if starpiece multiplies the stardust reward or not but that was the idea, to get 2x the dust + 3x boss dust.
