They would fix it if they could do it easily enough. Must be a pretty fundamental flaw in their netcode to still be there after more than 1,5 years.

They have it marked as an "in the works" issue on their website. Like others said, it must be a pretty serious/hidden issue if it's been on there for so long with no resolution.

It does seem to have gotten better. I haven't been hit with it in a while.
