Quest rewards

Catch a Dragon-type Pokemon:
10 Ultra Balls / 2 Golden Razz Berries / (1 / 3) Rare Candy / 3000 Stardust / Pokemon encounter(Dratini)

The reward I see on my phone is just 1500 stardust... did they lower this?

Second question: Has anyone been able to complete the "3 Excellent throws in a row" quest, and in how much time? It seems the reward (Larvitar) sucks for such a hard quest, the more so since the far less demanding 3x Excellent version awards the same thing, which I could probably complete in 2 days. The "in a row" version might take me weeks, unless I find a huge, favorable nest, so I will most likely just re-roll.

Well definitely reroll it now that a Larvitar community day is confirmed. The reward for it is now very minor (you'd benefit more from having a few extra pinaps/ultra balls to use on community day).

The 3000 dust reward was during the double dust event (when quests were introduced).

I completed the 3 excellents in a row not long after quests came out, not managed to find another tho to date! It's not as hard as it seems as long as you select the Pokémon you can regularly hit excellents on & don't try & catch anything else til I've completed it. Wailmer, Sudowoodo, Slowpoke, Ponyta are my choices, yours might be different depending on biome. My problem atm is finding quests with good rewards!

The longest time it took me to complete was almost two days, the shortest time was maybe 5 minutes, which was during the Kanto event with Ponytas everywhere. The easiest way to complete it that's always available is to do a Machamp raid and hope not to catch it with the first two balls. Stacking encounters like Pinsir and Onix can also help a lot.

I've completed it 7 or 8 times and never seen the version that doesn't require the throws to be in a row. Not convinced it exists at all to be honest.
