Poke spawns stopped at my city college?

After the recent nest migration all Pokemon stopped spawning at the school I go to. Its a junior college and they use to spawn all the time. There's lots of poke stops and they still work. Can anyone think of why this would have happened? Is it something that, reporting to Niantic would help?

Someone must have reported it as a school or more likely someone must have marked it as a school in open street maps. Take a look in the open street maps and report it as a college. Niantic has stopped pokemon spawning in schools.

Once people caught on to the fact that Pokemon Go was culling data from Open Street Maps, people started editing the data in hopes it would influence spawns in there area. One possibility is your junior college got reclassified from some sort of college to a school, where as was mentioned, they don't have spawns. Another possibility is that somebody tried marking your junior college as a wetland trying to get more Dratini etc. spawns, not realizing that PoGo is set to not spawn in wetland areas. The entire campus of RIT (Rochester Institute of Technology) is a dead zone now because of that.

So what do you mark something in Open Street Maps if you want dratini to spawn at that location?

i had the same thing, except it happened back when all the finder apps stopped working. funny thing was it started with no spawns - even though there are around 15-20 stops on campus, then about a month later there were spawns everywhere - slowpoke, magikarp, starmie, goldeen, dratini (there was a small lake on campus), then nothing.

I'll have to check out the open maps thing though.
