pogo+ broken?

Anybody else having issues with their Go Plus? It's dropping signal after each Pokémon catch attempt. It's also showing two pink tabs/markers for only one mon. Very weird. I reset the unit several times and no change. Any suggestions?

It stays on forever...unless I try to catch a mon. So, I wasn't thinking battery. I'll give it a shot. Fresh juice is always better. Sadly, can't do that until I get home and waste a day of driving.

You can buy your battery everywhere i think.

Just put a brand new battery in mine, but I'm having issue outside of that. Not after every catch, but it's been disconnecting more than usual.
