Not the Point of this question but you should install poke genie on your phone and do the appraisal there as it is generally much faster than the gamepress method while they fix it

I don't use that stuff but I've seen a lot of people saying calcy IV is better/safer

Calcy is best, but unavailable for iOS.

My poke genie had nothing for gen 4, it had no clue about luckies, and then it started to crash immediately on opening...after 16 months of using genie I switched to CalcyIV and it is 1000% better.

iOS or Android? Most recent update installed?

On iPhone I have scanned several Gen4 pokemon just fine using PokeGenie. From my understanding though, on Android CalcyIV is much better.

Poke Genie on my Android was always bad...but just became terrible in the past week. On CalcyIV I even went through an extra account (level 38) and labeled everything. Two days ago I wouldn't even do that on my bloated account (mostly bc of luckies)
