It's a pretty balanced team. Dragon Tail/Dragon Claw Dragonite it's amazing! Cause it will cause to make the opponent waste his shields quickly. Now, for the charged moves it's only option is Hurricane against fighting types and to help keep your Tyranitar alive. Speaking of him, Stone Edge is a really slow attack but it's better than Fire Blast in all situations. As for Machamp, Heavy Slam is it's only option and only works against Fairy-types (You have DP for Ice, Rock and Steel anyway). If you had Stone Edge on Machamp (Legacy) it'll work slightly better.

If you have to choose one...man, that's a difficult choice. Both Dragonite and Tyranitar suffer from having a 1-bar charged move available, while Machamp doesn't benefit much from Heavy Slam. I'll go with Tyranitar for being a bit less predictable than Dragonite.

Hope it helps :)

Playing devil's advocate, Stone edge is NOTE better than fire blast in all situations; if the opponent has a type advantage over tyranitar, such as you switch and then they counter-switch, fire blast covers bug, grass, and steel. Stone edge also covers bug, but stone edge is resisted by fighting, just as dark is, making fire blast the only attack to deal neutral damage to tyranitar (and even then tyranitar has to be very close to firing it off before it takes a hit)-but then at that point, your opponent is probably not expecting a fire blast and will not use their shields, only to be surprised to get hit by fire blast.

You made good points, just wanted to add my 2 cents. I would go with tyranitar regardless of the charged move

Just adding some more information:

Crunch is 45 energy (1.55 DPE)
Stone Edge is 55 energy (1.81 DPE)
Fire Blast is 80 energy (1.75 DPE)

Unless you are tight on charge TMs, try out both Stone Edge and Fire Blast against a friend with various counters like fighting, bug, grass, water, steel. One question would be if Tyranitar even survives long enough to use Fire Blast.

Here are my thoughts on these 3 specific Mons:

Dragonite: if you unlock a third move for it, you likely won't end up using it all that often, except when you're up against a fairy-type (Gardevoir/Togekiss) and aren't able to swap. Having Hurricane/Hyper Beam means your Dragonite isn't entirely toothless in what would otherwise be a very painful matchup.

Machamp: similar story to Dragonite. Heavy Slam gives it some nice counter-coverage against fairy-types, but doesn't offer much else since the other targets that
steel hits for SE damage are already covered by fighting (ice and rock).

Tyranitar: I would personally recommend this one of the three, and would suggest
Stone Edge over Fire Blast. Here's why. Fire Blast deals SE damage to bug, ice, grass, and steel. Stone Edge will also deal SE damage to bug and ice, so it covers those same two types. Crunch already covers Metagross (one of the most popular steel-types in Masters), and Grass is a very infrequent occurrence at Masters. Stone Edge also has the advantage of dealing SE damage to flying-types, which are very common in Masters, and fire-types. On top of all that, a Tyranitar with access to Crunch and Stone Edge will be a very versatile and powerful raid attacker. Of the three options, this is the only one where unlocking the extra move also gives it better utility outside of PvP.

I vote to replace Machamp. It's the weakest one in a neutral matchup and has a lot of natural counters in masters, like Lugia, Giratina, Latis, Mewtwo.

Steel is also neutral against a lot of types that resist fighting. I gave my gym Machamp Heavy Slam so I don't slow down as much against flying and psychic defenders. Athough, it is resisted by some dual types like Charizard, Gyarados, and Slowbro which see occasional usage.

I wouldn't recommend having a set team. The people you PvP with WILL catch on quickly and punish your team accordingly

I agree 100% with you, it's best to have a decent amount of pokemon to switch around so your opponent doesn't catch on.

Your team has three pokemon with weakness to fairy and 5 out of 6 moves are not very effective against it. So if your opponent has a fairy pokemon, they have a huge advantage. Having heavy slam is the best way to cover for this. Or changing a pokemon.

I had never encountered any fairy type pokemon in PVP or anything with fairy moves. A more realistic weakness is that if his tyranitar is picked off, he can be swept in a single Lati@s, Metagross or Giratina.

Common or not, it's still generally a bad idea for an entire team to share a singular weakness.

Seconding this, after an opponent sees this team they might think to bring in a Togekiss or Gardevoir to sweep through most of it by itself.
