Moves staying fixed?

Just evolved my first Feraligator. The starting Totodile had Water Gun and Crunch. So did the Crocanaw, and then the Feraligator. Is there some thing where the movesets don't change in these mon, or was it just highly unlucky?

Just RNG messing with your head.. too bad you got bite, still a "nice" attacker.

Really I can think of once when I've evolved something that kept a desirable moveset

Just a coincidence :/, but WG/C is still nice and you have almost a whole week w/ extra totodile spawns to get another Feraligator w/ better moves.
