After last night's box I finally have enough candy to evolve a Melmetal.
Having kept most of the Meltan I caught, I have potential to evolve a Melmetal fit for any given league. The question I have is exactly how well does it fare in all of them? It's bulky, but do the CP caps on the lower leagues impede too much on its stats? Does the recent nerf to PvP Thunderbolt affect its utility significantly? I don't plan to fret over evolving the best IVs unless I go for using one in Master League, I figure whichever one I can get closest to the 1500cp or 2500cp cap will suffice.
It was previously a good answer to Azumarill, Altaria and Cresselia in great league but I haven't tested how it fares with the nerfed Thunderbolt. Still probably pretty good because of how fast it charges and resisting charge moves from all three (with the rare exception of a HP Azu).
It has some positive matchups in the higher leagues but I have no experience of it there.
