max level question

hey guys,
does anyone know what the timetable is for the max level update. it was over two weeks ago when originally reported but players have said on here that they delayed it due to a bug. any general clue as to when that update will roll out to all players.

You mean increasing the level cap above 40, or powering pokemon above level 39.5?

Powering up Pokémon to level 39.5 or 40. My game still has max Pokémon level at 39. The update never went through at least on my device. To my understanding it had been held up due to bug issues. And I am a level 39 player so I’d be able to get it to whatever the max currently is.

I would hope it's the next big update, like the Thanksgiving event (if that is still a thing Niantic intends to do), or when Gen 3 is released. But, no one really knows.

Yea this is getting very frustrating as some players have the update and others don’t, so there’s zero consistency. Same thing with the EX Raid passes.
