Is it worth trying to get Shadow Claw Gengar for regionals?

I am wanting a full army of 6, but I'm wondering is it worth it?

If you're drowning in revives, sure. SC Gengar kicks butt every second until it goes down, but unfortunately, there aren't that many seconds before it goes down. The only relevant time it can take a big hit is against Focus Blast Mewtwo, but then it can be a lifesaver if you're short-manning it. It's good against Machamp, but there are better options.

That said, this is a game. If you love it, go for it. Might not be ideal use of resources, but if it makes you happy, who cares?

I have a level 40 SC Gengar and I hate it. It is just too glassy for my liking. I would never go in with a team of Gengars. However, if you like it, and are an expert at dodging, go for it.

I have two maxed (both 14a). I’d trade my spare one (however, the price would be 10 unique shiny species). My end: SC Gengar+9 alolan rattata, you: 10 shiny

Such a deal will cost at a minimum 400k dust, assuming you don't have any of the shinies.

I have several shiny species already, I’d take some more of those I already have among those 10.

Sure my offer is ridiculous, but some dumb regional for a legacy that is actually useful is also pretty ridiculous

Yeah personally I'm fine with trading away my regionals and shinies to my friends for absolutely nothing but useful pokemon like legacy gengar and legacy omastar are an absolute no.

Everyone value something else. For me, shinies I catch are just a bargaining chip to get legacy moves I want, for others its the other way around. I have 4 deals set up for ultra+ friends in a month or so. 3 SC gengar (2 for shinies and 1 for Mewtwo), and a db/dc Dnite for a shiny.

Niantic has made the game one you play with both (or more) hands (damage bonus especially encourages it). To an extent someone can just do a best friend in-house shiny trade. However, I can’t trade an old legacy to myself. I guess I value older/better things to shiny things

If the SC is level 15 and below 50%...then I’d think about it a week. At the least I’d make them max the Kang and I’d partially be anticipating Niantic to devalue SC Gengar during October research

Legacy Khan or current move sets?

If you like using glass cannon yes..
I like it and wont trade 3 my SC Gengar..
But some dont like it
But if that make you happy without too much cost then why not..

There is a decent chance the original poster just changed account info with someone online in a different region. My brother lives in Sweden, I could have him catch me 100 Mr. Mimes.

You could find somebody that is not your brother to use your account to catch you one damn Kang, in exchange for you catching them one stupid Tauros ( I catch 4 of those a day)

I can trade you my level 20 one, if Niantic removes the 100 meters limit.
