How many GO groups have you been kicked out of?

I've been kicked out of messenger groups from two different towns/cities, places where i used to raid.

I've also been kicked off the local telegram group of my current town/city, despite the fact i never used to post any messages there and hardly spoke to the other members.

I have never spoofed, disrupted raids by being late etc, slept with any players i shouldn't have, or broken any laws. However i have still gotten booted out of various groups. Quite impressive.

Can you match my track record?

What? Do people get kicked out of groups for sleeping with others? Welcome to Pokemon Go Shore!

I've personally left my raid group after disagreeing with the way they tolerate inappropriate gameplay (excluding spoofing). But I've always been quite straight in this matter. To me, multi accounting is already accounted as cheating.

I imagine there are people who get kicked out for sleeping around, like sleeping with the admins wife or something :D

I do find admins tend to kick you out simply for disagreeing with them or not liking them. Sometimes they just kick you because they don't like your face. Alot of hypocrites run these groups.

You probably disagreed before the current state of things, but you actually might have more of a point than just being a holier-than-thou’er.

Today my main account got my 2nd lucky Mewtwo 14a/12/15. Also a ralts spawned in my living room, lower level for level 30+ 186cp. However, also caught it on a level 23 at 289cp (boosted). Traded it to my main and it went lucky, level 26 male 15a/13/12.

I’ve found it kinda sucks trading with other people around here. Yesterday, a 2500 heracross I caught 1350 km away...uh, they had some level 15 Jynxes and a stupid level 15 giraffe available for trading (?), some stupid cats from Germany (?). Anyway, heracross stayed at 2500 after trade and she said she was gonna throw it away bc not 90+%. Yeah, I’d rather just keep decent stuff or trade it to a less discerning Alt.

Stuff like your stories about Mewtwo and Ralts are what multi accounting are cheating. You get 2 tries at good Pokemon, where I get one try. I see the same thing in my community where people show off all their luckies that they got from their alt accounts. It just makes me mad.

This morning traded at level 33 Oddish and it came to me unlucky at 14a/15/15. Nobody cares about Vileplume, but it can be a drop in a bucket.

However, there is almost no raiding activity in my part of town (residential area in a HUGE city but not near highways/interstates). I can try to get something started when I have time, but it feels like a Tammany Hall-ish endeavor.

I kinda resent the other high level players in this cluster of neighborhoods for not having backup muscle accounts. I don't put them in gyms (I barely put my main in gyms). I've also given three strong accounts away to my nephew/brother overseas. I still arrive to raids 2.5 times stronger than anyone else there...and after that still tough to get a Mewtwo raid going/beat. I wish everyone would arrive with two, then I wouldn't have to log #3 and 4 up.

I just got as lucky as I'll ever get, about 5 months ago I maxed a caught level 30 15a/14/14 bagon on my main. Caught the same one on my 2nd...evolved that into a Shelgon but will never have enough candy to ever fully evolve it there. Traded it to my main for a Kingdra...didn't go lucky but the Shelgon stayed at 1663 cp, 15a/14/13 (that Kingdra ramped up to 90%+, too.)

After I maxed the initial Salamence I have but 50 candy, however, eventually it'll be able to get evolved since it is on my main. The above is somewhat shady, but those are some slim odds for a one shot trade (a 5/5/5 guarantee turning out to be a 15a/14/13 unlucky)

I believe everyone “cheats” to a certain extent (remember, driving while playing pogo is against the rules too, which almost everyone I know is guilty of) and if they banned everyone that “cheats”, they would hardly have any players left

i have gotten kicked from 2 chats
cause the admin forced me to
threaten him with legal action

Maybe the inaction is why you got kicked from the telegram group? If they were doing a purge and just got rid of everyone who didn't seem active. Although I don't know why you'd purge a telegram group because they're not limited in size.

Your record is impressive for sure. I've never been kicked from any group but then again I'm picky and don't really join local groups where powertripping admins tend to live. Don't really need to for raiding and often they use whatsapp or messenger which are both gigantic no-nos.

Nothing to do with my inactivity.

The reason was they kicked someone else for calling the admins *Pogo Nazis.* This person discussed with this me. The admins found out and so also decided to boot me.

Go figure.

None. I have only ever joined the PoGo Singapore Facebook group. However, I voluntarily left a PoGo Whatsapp group that someone added me to without my permission.

Left a local discord group because it got super lame after all the scanner were taken out. The only other groups I've joined were Facebook.

Personally of none.
But I can say pogo chats (or groups in general) are cancer.

Fights for position, backstabbing, intrigues, true love, fake love, submissive people, abusiv people, pretty much anything to make some shitty serie.

Actually im kinda into that shit. Its entertaining and just rediculus how some people are fighting like their lives would depend on their status within the pogo group.

Its like beeing back in primary school but with adult people.

The thing I have more problem with is how people that play forever still dont know how effectivness works. How a lot of them are too stupid to make easy calculations and either pussy out of makeable raids or try to talk u into when it is hopeless

Ughh it’s the absolute worst when people with Zero clue try and talk you and others out of raids...

My small town only has one. My wife got kicked out for arguing back with an admin bullying her and I was kicked for association. I created my own group and was doing really well. The admins created fake accounts and got into it and started kicking people out. They made flyers and announcements that my group wasn't sanctioned by theirs and no one should follow us. They got enough people to complain and even got my personal Facebook account banned and my messenger shut down. The last Mewtwo ex raid we went to they made sure no one would raid with us by threatening everyone there a ban. So we couldn't do it only one guy said forget them and joined us but we couldn't 3 man it.

Deoxys is a huge win because now my wife and I can invite our close friends and we can 4 man it! We could see the admins sweat bullets because they knew their control over the community was failing. They even called an emergency meeting to figure out how to handle this ex raid change. Hopefully Niantic comes out with more changes to end toxic adminship.

To be honest, Niantic pushing PoGo as a social game, without proper social features (friends and trading are a step in the right direction but simply not enough), is a key reason why cheating (especially abusing multiple accounts) is so rampant in the game. Shutting down scanners gave toxic admins more power, since players become more reliant on toxic groups (that Niantic cannot moderate) to find raids and gather enough raiders.

I agree raids really caused this to go down hill. Admins were forced to have to be nice to their followers because they had no power. If they were terrible people we left and joined another group. But now that some raids require 8+ people to complete the admins now gain power. And everyday people are going to abuse their power.

I remember a time where a mob was calling for you to be kicked from here. I'm sure you've never rustled anyone's jimmies on a discord or messenger app.

Who needs the drama of Pokémon groups anymore? The game is so nerfed now.... there is zero need for any sort of Pokémon Go group, Ex raids can be done with 2 people, the so called “Tier 6“ raid can be done with 5 and when Rayquaza returns it will be an easy 2 man. Let’s be honest, 2 half way decent players can drag even the worst groups to victory other than info on what raid is where, I can’t think of a single reason to put up with the average power mad, turbo nerd Pokémon go administrator

Im not that sure...it could very well be that from now on every T5 is like Mewtwo.
Would make sense cuz T5 was basically a long T4 till now.

And unless its a big city its very unlikely to meet that amount of random players

Kicked out, none
Kicked myself out, a couple of times
I basically need the info on raids because i have to go there first 30-1 hour from my home so i want to know if there are an active raids going on or not.
Never fill the list of raids either, just saying i will be there, if i am late dont hesitate to leave me
So far no problem, being able to carry another trainer in raid help i guess

Never had this issue tbqh. We run a tight ship in regards to our local raids/sightings chats. If people are being pain in the ass, causing petty arguments or causing fights then they're removed for obvious reasons but that rarely happens. The only other reasons people are removed are that they are just chat lurkers that are no longer active within our community or they have been caught red handed whilst spoofing.

Unfortunately not all groups and communities can run smoothly as i've seen happen with one of our neighbouring towns D:. Hopefully you'll find a select few raiders that you can count on in a pinch, these days you only need a few people to beat a T5 raid anyway :').
Happy hunting!

If you are being kicked out of this many raid groups then you are probably doing something wrong. Remember a while ago when you were always ticking people off on this site? Personally it was just all comedy to me, but you did spread around a lot of negativity and left many people annoyed. I'm no genius, but if I had to put together my critical thinking skills, my guess would be that you are still acting this way when communicating with your fellow messenger chat people. Sometimes we tend to say things that may offend someone when we don't actually mean to do so.

I mean, I'm not an insufferable dickhead so no, I haven't been kicked out of any groups.

It's a meaningless record in many ways. Our old Messenger group would routinely purge (every time it hit the number cap) and kick everyone out, so we would all have to go sign up again. I think I and everyone else in it was booted at least 4 times before we switched to Telegraph which has a 1000 person cap on the group, not 250.

I wonder why you got kicked...

I've kicked myself out of one. Reason: its rules said you must be active in the area. I cannot be active there when I only visit during nest changes (to report the nests found) or during special events (CD, limited raids). So I spared them the trouble of having to lift the boot.
