Hail to the new fighting king?

If Power-Up Punch, a 3 bar charged move, boosts attack 100% of the time like it does in the main series, do you think that Lucario will become the new defacto fighting type PVP king?

....if so, I'd better hurry up and hatch some 7k eggs!

It looks like the chance might be 100% - in the game master for the move it says "buff atk ratio 1", which seems like a 100% chance. I'm guessing it's only one stage,or a 25% buff (all the other's have been two stages, or 50%), and it's only for attack, not both defense and attack like the other buffed moves have been. Given that the move itself is not very good, I wouldn't be shocked if it's a guarantee.

Medicham in great league is going to be crazy, too. Give it power-up punch and dynamic punch and watch it wreck.

An interesting turn of events for sure. It won't be making PvE waves but that low PvP energy cost and attack buff paired with Counter sounds juicy. I might give my Great League Lucario a spin with this and see how it does.

Its a PvP move, Lucario's got nothing on the champ for PvE. But ill stick with medicham for PvP great, and it might make poliwrath better in ultra because it has more bulk than Lucario

if i did correctly my math lucario will becamo second best fighting type one after machamp and not for so much and his TDO compensates for that little dps lose

Still afraid to evolve riolu as a future shiny release with Aura Sphere or Meteor Mash is still a possibility though not a too soon one. Love it when they release moves you can TM on old pokes though

Yeah, same here, I want so bad evolve riolu but he needs utility

Same here, its not like PuP's going away or is in big demand for raids, no harm in holding off imo

Why? if they release a shiny variant or an aura sphere variant it will be in an limited time event where you can either catch a lot of riolu so not having a good one is irrelevant or is a raid day where you'll figth directly lucario where you will probably catch a good one.

Well, better safe than sorry, I guess, since this game is basically a constant patience test in which we have to wait before making decisions as long as there's a believable chance that what we want will become better later but in a way that's not retroactive

We still need some luck to get good IV Pokemon from raid/community day, which is a good enough reason to not do anything until you have more than one option

Is Riolu in both 7k and 10k eggs? If so, is it any more likely to hatch from one than the other?

I knew it had supposedly been in 7k eggs during at least one special event, but I thought it reverted to only being in 10k eggs after the event ended.

It's in both but extremely rare. I guess 7k are better for the fact you can reliably get them, on the other hand, they give less candy than the 10k.

He's in 7k eggs, but rare and the 10k Adventure Sync eggs. Not sure if it's exclusively the AS 10k eggs (as opposed 10k eggs not received from AS reward), but I have hatched 2 and both were the AS 10k eggs

I hatched one on my own and one on alt, and it wasnt from AS 10k eggs, just standard eggs from stops.
