Evolving Dragonite
I have a CP 3121 100% 15/15/15 Dragonite. The question is which would be recommended next to evolve, having a CP 389 96% 15/13/15 Dratini or a CP 579 91% 15/11/15 Dratini?
The 91% Dratini will need far less candy to max, where as the 96% Dratini will require a ton.
As everyone can probably agree on Dratini candy is difficult to come by. Thanks!

The traditional answer has been to wait until you have enough candy to both evolve and power up to usable level. The 91% is a higher level, but still kinda low if you don't have any more candy to power it up.
Dratini 579 CP with 15a/11d/15s (91%) is level 24. The Dragonite will be 2433 CP. It will take 44 candy and 51K stardust to reach level 30, 3041 CP.
Dratini 389 CP with 15a/13d/15s (96%) is level 16. The Dragonite will be 1629 CP. It will take 82 candy and 92.6K stardust to reach level 30, 3055 CP.
Whichever you choose, before you evolve, you probably want some portion of that remaining candy to power up a bit after you evolve. Dratini are rare, but if you are waiting to hatch or find another Dratini before you can power up, then it is posible that you might find a higher level Dratini also.
