I'm not seeing Kabuto and Omastar everywhere, so I'm pretty sure the Adventure Week event has ended (scheduled for 4 PM EST for me). But my Larvitar buddy is still getting candy every 1.25 km. Was there an announcement that this bonus has been extended, or did Niantic forget, and I should delete this post, and tell everyone else to shut up about it?

It has shifted for me. Had 4.2 out of 5k for a Groudon candy. Now its 4.2 out of 20k.

I never saw an Omastar either, not even atop a gym with a countdown timer.

Turns out it was an illusion. I walked it a bit more, got it to 1.5 km, never got the candy. This morning, it read 1.5/5 km, so it stopped giving me the bonus, just took its sweet time letting me know the distance was upped.

Now hoping to find some Ttar raids to get candy before the CD.
