Are they going to fix the bugs?

Does Niantic just simply have no intention of fixing the bugs in the game? That 0 error when switching to another account is really annoying, but the worst is the dodge bug. It has been horrible the last few days. It makes me wonder why dodging is even part of the game. I like moves that allow me to dodge, but the dodge bug makes it pointless to dodge. The dodge bug has been an issue for what, a year, a year and a half, two years? I don't understand their refusal to address it. Should we all message them in mass complaining?

For long I have forgotten what dodge is.

Just found this...notice the date. They are either lying to our face (again) or totally incompetent. Just put a damn dodge button next to the charge move button.

God yes. In fact, get rid of all swiping gestures in the game and replace with dedicated buttons.

I wish they would just get rid of the battle timer altogether. The battle should end only when everyone's team of 6 are dead or the when the raid boss is dead, whichever comes first

I would be all for getting rid of the raid timer. Let me solo a legendary. If I go through 30 pokemon to do it, let that be my choice.

Getting rid of the raid timer would be terrible. There would be no point in getting groups together for raids, therefore not being as fun. Plus soloing a tier 3 or a tier 4 duo (two very fun things to do) wouldn't be rewarding anymore.

How many Solo legendary raids would you be able to do when you end up with 30 fainted Pokemon?
You will ran out of healing items after just a few such raids, and then you will start looking for raid groups again.

Exactly. I carry around 150 max revives and 50 normal. A couple of solo legendary raids would wipe me out.

My idea was that you aren't allowed to use a 2nd battle party. Everyone in the raid gets 1 team of 6 Pokemon. If everyone wipes out, the battle is lost. But as long as there's at least one Pokemon left standing when the Raid boss faints, everyone wins. If anything this would encourage bigger groups while smaller groups would need to dodge and use bulkier Pokemon with less DPS in order to survive.

And it would be a net positive for Tier 3 solos and Tier 4 duos since you would never again be screwed over by the timer

Solid_snake, they would never implement your idea. It would encourage people to put more effort into building good teams rather than being passengers, which is not what Niantic want to do. Niantic want to appeal to as many casuals as possible. It would also enable strong players to dominate more, which is also something Niantic don't want.

Although your idea is interesting it would also encourage players to spam bosses with Blisseys, which would be very tedious.

Blissey will become the best counter to almost anything, because TDO will be the only thing important. It will be very boring.

I don't think putting a button will fix the bug, this is a problem with client-server sync, not user interface. It probably require a complete overhaul of the battle system, at least on the server side. They will not do this until they start feeling it in their pockets, like the gym rework. Hopefully they will do it with the introduction of PvP.

I've heard this too and if they need to shut down gyms again for a couple days like they did when Raids were introduced, so be it. I'd be perfectly happy to miss out on a week of raiding if all these issues were fixed upon it's return

Perhaps if the whales demand that the bugs be fixed, otherwise they will stop spending. Alternatively, Nintendo/GF/TPC could pressure Niantic to fix said glitches in order to retain the IP rights to the Pokemon franchise.

Dodging is still viable, unless the move would otherwise kill your pokemon. So if focus blast mewtwo is about to hit your half health Tyranitar, don't bother dodging. if it's about to hit your full health shadow ball mewtwo, dodging will work.

The earliest reports of the dodge bug are from late 2016, so closing in on two years. The reason they haven't solved it is likely because it's so deeply embedded in their netcode that they would have to overhaul the battle system completely.

Doesn't this only come up in lobbies of more than one person? I can dodge freely in solo attempts with no issues.
