Any use for Double Fire Attack Salamence?
OK so I have a maxed out Rayquaza (double dragon attack), 4 maxed out Dragonites (that are double dragon attack), and 2 maxed out Salemence (double dragon attack). That's 7 maxed out dragon types with double dragon attacks.
At this point, does it make any sense to make my next Salamence a double fire attack? Can it serve a use in the 6 hole in a raid on something like say Regice? I suppose I want a use for fire breathing dragon :).

Yes, when you max it out it is definitely a servicable fire attacker into everything except ice types (a big miss definitely, but there's still plenty of use for fire against grass, steel, bug etc.)
However, I only have this thinking because you're only 2 TMs away from a top tier dragon attacker, if you finally build up your fire squad and can swap Sally over to a dragon role.
(This is the same logic I apply to Rayquaza. It's the best dragon attacker now and I still max them knowing it might be overtaken by Gen 4 dragons, but it is 2 TMs away from being a very servicable flying type, to round out the gaps while new species take over the dragon role)
My worst was spending seven CTM's trying to get DP on a legacy KC Machamp, before giving up. Now it has close combat, and I wish I had kept cross chop.
I also spent six to get SB on my legacy SC Gengar, five to get heavy slam on a Snorlax, and at least four trying (so far without success) to get AP on an Aerodactyl.
I have one of these, and refuse to TM his moves since I've got enough dragon-type firepower. Also, Draco Meteor combined with Sala's frailty isn't enticing. I can't say I use him much, but he was part of my Breloom raid team during the fighting event.
Would make a solid grass-type counter on the whole, given double-resistance and a high attack stat, but issues include a lack of STAB; Fire Blast; and the fact that there aren't any grass-type L3+ raid bosses at present. Perhaps there'll be a niche, future use.
